ENDURALL Technologies, Inc. hereafter referred to as ENDURALL, subject to the conditions and limitations listed herein, warrants CeDUR Shakes to be free from manufacturers defects in materials
and workmanship that effect roofing performance, and to be resistant to wind
for 10 years and to hail damage for a period of 50 years from date of
installation. For purposes of this warranty, wind damage defined as
blow-off resulting from continuous/sustained winds up to and including
110 miles per hours during the initial 10-year
period, as confirmed by the National Weather Service or local weather
bureau. Hail damage defined as structural fracture to the product
during the initial 50-year period resulting from hail up to and including
1-3/4 diameter hailstones as confirmed by the
National Weather Service or local weather bureau.
Should CeDUR Shakes fail as a result of conditions within the above parameters in the
first year following installation, the sole and exclusive remedy provided by
ENDURALL (after inspection and verification by ENDURALL) will be to repair and/or replace defective shakes, including the cost of
installation labor performed by a professional roofer (exclusive of
flashing, metal work and product disposal), or to issue a cash refund to the
owner, with total compensation not to exceed the original installed cost
(material and labor) of the effected material. ENDURALL reserves the right to approve and/or negotiate any contracts for any such
work not performed by ENDURALL.
After the first year from the date of
installation until the expiration of the warranty, the sole and exclusive
remedy for damage due to wind provided, according to the above wind
resistance parameters, will be to compensate the owner for the effected
roofing material (installation labor is specifically excluded) in proportion
to the unexpired warranty period. The original purchase price of the
material shall be reduced by one-one hundred and twentieth (1/120) for every
month of service provided after the original date of installation.
Total compensation shall not exceed the original price received by ENDURALL for the effected material.
After the first year from the date of
installation until the expiration of the warranty, the sole and exclusive
remedy for damage due to hail provided, according to the above wind
resistance parameters, will be to compensate the owner for the effected
roofing material (installation labor is specifically excluded) in proportion
to the unexpired warranty period. The original purchase price of the
material shall be reduced by one six hundredth (1/600) for every month of
service provided after the original date of installation. Total
compensation shall not exceed the original price received by ENDURALL for the effected material.
Any ENDURALL approved product replacement pursuant to this warranty does not extend the
duration of the original warranty. The warranty period commences from the
date of installation, and is valid only when the CeDUR shake roofing materials have been properly stored, handled, installed and
maintained in strict accordance with the written application instructions.
The warranty does not include costs of material or labor relating to
flashings, vents, metal work, underlayment, framing and other materials not
manufactured by ENDURALL. Failure to follow application instructions shall result in this
warranty becoming null and void. This warranty may be transferred to
one subsequent property owner upon sale or transfer of the property listed
on the Product Warranty Registration Form, provided ENDURALL is notified within 90 days of the title transfer by means of the Product
Warranty Transfer Form included with this publication. The remaining
portion of the warranty for the second owner will be the same as that for
the original owner. |

Labor costs for application of CeDUR roofing after the first year.
Damage to the interior or exterior of a building, or property damage, or
personal injury.
Claims for wind damage for continuous/sustained wind speeds in excess of 110
miles per hour.
Claims for hail damage where hailstones exceed 1-3/4 in diameter.
CeDUR shake applied over existing roof underlayment and/or other roof
covering.
Natural changes in color due to prolonged exposure to UV rays and
other natural elements
CeDUR
Shield underlayment refer to separate warranty.
Damage from any cause other than manufacturing defects; or any damage caused
by lightning or impact of foreign objects (except hail as defined
herein); or damage due to settlement, distortion, failure or cracking
of the roof sheathing, walls, or foundation of a building; or any defect in
or failure of material used as a roof base over which CeDUR
roofing is applied; or damage by misuse, abuse, improper installation, lack
of normal maintenance of the roof; or from any cause beyond ENDURALLs
control. |

Claims
under the warranty must be made in writing to ENDURALL within the period of the warranty, and
authorization obtained prior to beginning any repair work. The Owner
shall provide ENDURALL the right to examine the applied CeDUR roofing and to obtain samples and/or
pictures of the alleged defective product. |

warranty of any kind, express
or implied, including, without limitation, any
implied
warranty of merchantability. No person is
authorized
to make any representation or warranty on behalf of
ENDURALL except as
expressly set forth above. Any such
statement shall not be binding on
ENDURALL. |
