ENDUR·All Technologies, Inc. (ETI) a privately owned, Colorado corporation was started in 1996 for the purpose of using
a new materials technology for the development of new, innovative, high
performance building products.
A marriage of market need and technology took place in 1996 when the
insurance industry drive for a more durable and longer lasting roof and the
availability of a proprietary polymer technology came together at ETI in
Denver, Colorado. The market need came via the insurance industry, led
by State Farm Insurance. Weary of millions of dollars of roof losses due to
hail and wind primarily in the states of
Colorado, Wyoming, Nebraska, and
Kansas, State Farm began to promote the use and development of a new
generation of better roofing materials through a rigorous new performance
test and standard for impact resistance.

The ENDUR·ALL technology answer is
a patented micro-cellular rigid foam material developed as a wood substitute, which
we call DURATHON. When molded into a tapered wood shake replica, now known as
the Ce·DUR Shake, it exhibits unique qualities making it ideal for
climate exposed exterior product use, especially roofing. Product development work, testing and
certification listing, began in January 1996 and progressed into 1997.

Recognizing the huge market need and apparent product performance voids in
the steep slope (residential) roofing market, ETI's development focused on a
replacement for the very popular wood shake that was rapidly becoming an
unacceptable product in the area due almost exclusively to its performance
shortcomings. First field installations of the Ce·DUR Shake replacing wood
shakes were make in November 1997 in Evergreen and Boulder, Colorado.
Since its inception, ENDUR·ALL has been driven by the following business philosophies and
objectives:
► establish a new performance standard in the roofing
industry;
►
deliver maximum value to the consumer via superior product
performance;
►
measure our success as customer satisfaction with their
purchase;
►
educate the consumer on the best performance standard and
assist them
in
making the best roofing decision.
Headquartered in Denver, an area where roofing sees all the worst from
nature, gave ETI a sensitivity to the performance shortcomings of many
products designed in friendly climates that had come to the high country and
failed. Our strategy was and is to develop the product for the toughest
application/use, submit for the most rigorous testing certifications (UL),
and focus on long life solutions. In the process, we had the advantage of
learning from the mistakes of others who tried to replicate cedar shake
appearance using traditional materials and technologies.
The above direction has given ENDUR·ALL the Ce·DUR Shake which meets all known performance needs
and eliminates known product shortcomings in the residential and steep
sloped commercial roofing market.
